Ruby's Cave

Address: 66, Myddleton Road, London, N22 8NW

Year: 2015

It's the question everyone asks: who is Ruby?...

That would be Ev's grandmother. The shop was named in her honour.

And it is an amazing shop, with ever-changing vintage and antique furniture, art and pottery. It's the place to go for a classic 1960s sideboard, a Victorian-era mirror, or some early 20th-century art prints. Every visit turns up a new surprise or curiosity.

North-Londoner Ev grew up in Camden, but sources his stock from all over the place.

Ruby's Cave still has its original Victorian stained-glass and shop-front, and the shop has changed little in a century.
