In an exciting new endeavour, there is an indoor Vintage & Flea Market at Shaftesbury Hall on Saturday 23rd March, 12-4pm, brought to you by the team behind Myddleton Road market. Entry is just £1 entry (kids free), and there will be some of the area’s best vintage sellers including Tatty Bits, Ripple Vintage and Bens Vintage Rugs. Expect to see homewares, memorabilia, clothing, jewellery, furniture and more.
Pizzaman at No. 136 Myddleton Road has applied to Haringey Council to turn the former shop at No. 134 into a storage space. We think the unit should continue serving people on the street, and have suggested it could be turned into a pizza-café instead. What do you think? You can post your comments here.
The young boy on his bike is a local resident named Peter, and the photo was taken in 1952!
Tweet of the month
Yes, here at We Love Myddleton Road we’re still hugely excited by the arrival of Shaftesbury Hall. Did you know you can hire it for parties? Well, someone does as this tweet from Bowes & Bounds proves!
See you soon!
