JUNE Newsletter

Welcome to the summer and your packed monthly newsletter from We Love Myddleton Road!

After a fantastic inaugural outing last year, everyone’s favourite dog competition – Bowes Bark! – is back on Saturday 8th June, 11am sharp on the corner of Myddleton and Marlborough Road.

The 2018 competition was famously won by Maszola who scored the top marks in two categories including “dog most likely to be a secret Instagram celebrity”.

And of course there was Mosely, voted “dog most likely to support Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium”.

It’s completely free to enter your dog, and there are lots of doggy prizes to win, thanks to the folks at Ace Dog Walking

And if you don’t have a pooch, don’t worry! You can take part by coming along, meeting the dogs and voting for the winners!

The Myddleton Road Photography Competition on 11thMay had some cracking entries, including this winning entry by Robert.

Do you remember the wonderful vintage furniture shop, Ruby’s Cave, at No. 66 Myddleton Road? Well, it’s back, so go check it out!

It’s a big thing for our little street, but new trains really are in service from Bowes Park station, with the old stock gradually being phased out. The folks at Bowes & Bounds are very excited and keen to celebrate
