It’s finally here! The amazing Myddleton Road Winter Festival returns on Sunday December 3rd, 11am-5pm!
There will be over 40 traders selling gifts, hot food, fresh market produce, mulled wine, Christmas crafts in Woodentots, Christmas trees, beer and more. Plus there will be a free Santa's Grotto with gifts for every child, as well as fun fair rides again and a local brass band and choir bringing the festive cheer.
Check out all the details here.
Invite your friends, neighbours, colleagues and everyone else you know!
If you fancy helping out on the day, do email us here.
And a big, big thanks to everyone who donated to our fundraising page toward Santa's visit to the festival.
ANOTHER NEW BUSINESS
It’s a big Myddleton Road welcome to Tara and Felicity who run Authentic Villa Holidays and have just moved in at No. 79, on the corner opposite Red Sea Supermarket.
Their business has been around for a number of years based near Alexandra Palace, but they are really excited to now be part of the Myddleton Road community.
If fact, they are so excited, they are running a competition! If you drop by and sign up to their newsletter by December 3rd, you will be entered into a prize draw to win some wines from the destinations they offer.
Do pop in and say hello!
Our new Instagram page continues to post some amazing pics of Myddleton Road, and we are steadily gathering followers!
Check out our profile here and spread the word.
A local resident has applied to Haringey Council to change No. 123 Myddleton Road from a workshop into a wellness studio focussing on lymphatic massage therapy. No. 123 has one of the few original shop fronts left on the street.
We think this is a great application, that will bring another business to the road, provide a new service to the local community, generate more footfall, and enhance Myddleton Road’s vitality and viability.
You can check out the application and leave a comment here.
TWEET OF THE MONTH
There’s been a bit of a trend in Bowes Park recently for sky photography, with various dramatic images being posted on social media.
Check out this example from The Step:
Last month, we told you of Bohem Brewery’s new brewing tanks. Well, the first fruits are becoming available.
At 7pm on Tuesday November 28th, the guys will be launching a brand new beer at Bohem Taproom, at No. 120A.
Bohem Vasco is apparently a Double Indian Pale Lager (DIPL), and comes in at a whopping 7.4%
Seasons greetings everyone!
See you soon!
