APRIL Newsletter



 Easter is nearly here and once again, We Love Myddleton Road will be running an entirely free chocolate Easter Egg hunt for children in the area on Sunday 21st April, 11am to 12pm. 

To do this, we need YOU, the glorious people of Bowes Park, to donate chocolate eggs! 

Large or small, you can drop them off at Leafy Bean Café in Bowes Park Station or at Renaissance Music at No. 81, Myddleton Road. 

Please be generous!


April is a busy month…

Cup Tales café at No. 135 are hosting their regular last-Sunday-of-the-Month 

Okido Arts and Science workshop on Sunday 31st March. The sessions are for kids aged 3-8 years old, and there are three groups from 10am until 1pm. Pop in to find out more! 

Cup Tales follow this up with their first-Monday-of-the-month ‘SYMPOSIUM’ on philosophical ideas. On Monday 1stApril at 7pm, the discussion will be on “The Idea that Changed my Life”.  

At 7.30pm on Thursday 4th April, Renaissance Music (No. 81) sees the return of its monthly Jazz Club, featuring Mike Lesirge and Jonny Tomlinson. Tickets are here.

The Myddleton Road Market returns on 11am to 4pm on Sunday 7th April. Invite everyone you know here..! 

Leafy Bean café return with their monthly book club 7pm on Thursday 25th April. This month’s book is the classic Oranges are Not the Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson.   

And on Friday 26th April, Renaissance Music have another Supper Club with chef Alan Rosenthal - for one night only, with a Fawlty Towers theme. Tickets are here

Bowes Park’s very own Bohem Brewery have a special collaboration lager produced with St. Austell Brewer called ‘Otakar’. It’s now on tap at the Bohem Taproom at No. 120A, so do stop by and give it a try.
